N A T E  M O E L L E R I N G

Nate Moellering was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He began his journey of struggle with substance use disorder at the age of 12 and it lasted until he was 24. Since Nate has found long-term recovery, he has devoted his life and career to helping others recover. In 2018 he helped start an outpatient treatment program Fort Wayne Recovery as a founding member. Fort Wayne Recovery has continued to grow and led to the creation of Allendale Treatment which specializes in detox and residential treatment for those with substance use disorder as well as other mental health disorders.  Nate is currently the Director of Community Outreach of Fort Wayne Recovery and Allendale Treatment. Aside from his work as a director of community outreach, Nate is a board member at the 13th Step House, a featured speaker with Remedy Live and an illicit substance use expert on the Allen County Overdose Fatality Review Team. He also helped to found Bare Knuckle Recovery which is a free social media platform that creates content regarding substance use, and recovery and does free resource mapping.
